What is your favorite thing about teaching?
I get such a high from teaching! There is no better way to get my endorphins flowing! I look forward to connecting with like minded individuals every class. Not everyone loves exercise so finding a place where you are surrounded by encouraging women who share the same passion is so special. It's empowering and makes you want to live your best life!
What can clients expect from you when they attend your classes?
If you can dance to a song, you will find it on my playlist! I take my line up very seriously. I listen to all sorts of music so the songs can range anywhere from an EDM remix to Tom Petty to Taylor Swift!
What is one thing about you that people would be surprised to know?
I actually consider myself shy! Nobody believes me when I say this but it's true!
What would the title of your autobiography be?
JOMO...The Joy Of MIssing Out!
What song gets you pumped up every time you hear it?
Mr. Brightside by The Killers
How do you relax?
I am most relaxed when I am by the ocean...but also hiking up a mountain! Being among nature calms me. Don't get me wrong though, a lavender epsom salt bath also does the trick too :)
Do you prefer breakfast, lunch or dinner? And what is your favorite thing to eat for that meal?
Breakfast is my favorite. I don’t go hardcore during the week so love going all out on the weekends! Breakfast for dinner is the best! I am obsessed with TFD’s hashbrown waffle.
What type of music/artist do you love?
I love all music! It really depends on how I'm feeling honestly but Taylor Swift, Stevie Nicks, and Mumford and Sons are my all time favorites!
How do you take your coffee or tea?
Coffee with almond milk or cream and tea, just black!
Where is one place in the world that you haven't been to that you are dying to go?
Greece or Patagonia (currently)...this constantly changes!
What's your favorite color?
Pink
What is one thing you struggle with and how do you manage it?
I've had anxiety for most of my life! My parents took me to cognitive therapy when I was younger, where I learned how to relax through different breathing techniques. I practice ALL the time. Moving my body also clears my mind!
Why is working out important to you?
See above! Whether it's a walk, hike, spin, buti class, or a dance party by myself, I just feel happier after working out. My mind clears and I am in an overall better headspace. I have always viewed coming to PPS, as a way to let go and just be for 45 or 60 minutes.
What is your favorite tv show?
Survivor
What movie can you watch over and over again?
Love Actually!
