What is your favorite thing about teaching?
I love challenging clients and seeing their growth. More importantly, I love the sense of community and support we build at our studio. I also really enjoy making playlists; it’s a creative outlet for me.
What can clients expect from you when they attend your classes?
Fun music, high energy, and hopefully some laughs.
What is one thing about you that people would be surprised to know?
In my professional career I’ve raised over $100,000,000 for nonprofit organizations.
What would the title of your autobiography be?
"Just Breath"
What song gets you pumped up every time you hear it?
"Levels" by Avicii for a barre pump up song. And “Juicy” by Biggie for nostalgic reasons.
Who is your role model and why?
My mother. She is incredibly strong, smart, and has done so much to help the lives of others.
How do you relax?
I love our infrared sauna. After 20 minutes you feel like a new person.
What type of music/artist do you love?
For the studio, it’s mostly EDM sprinkled with some pop and hip hop. There’s a high probability that you’ll hear a Dua Lipa remix - I love her!
How do you take your coffee or tea?
Black iced coffee all year round!
Where is one place in the world that you haven't been to that you are dying to go?
Iceland to hike, swim, and experience the Northern Lights.
Why is working out important to you?
For me, movement is like meditation. I love sweating out any frustrations or bottled up emotions. I always feel better after working out.
What is one thing you struggle with and how do you manage it?
I struggle with balancing the various roles I play each day (mother of 3, wife, daughter, sister, friend, boss, colleague, etc.). I manage it by doing the best I can each day and knowing that I have an amazing support system cheering me on.
What is your favorite tv show?
"Ted Lasso" and "Yellowstone." They are two totally different shows with captivating storylines and strong character development.
What movie can you watch over and over again?
Whenever "Braveheart" is on, I have to watch it.
