What is your favorite thing about teaching?  

That I get to create an environment that may help others live more connected to their whole selves. I like to think I bring awareness to being rather than doing.  
 

What can clients expect from you when they attend your classes?

When you take a class with me, you can expect meditation, stretching, lengthening, and strengthening in a gentle way. It's my goal that you leave feeling balanced and connected to your inner self. 

 

What is one thing about you that people would be surprised to know?

I am a complete introvert, my batteries need to be recharged by being alone on a very regular basis. 

 

What would the title of your autobiography be? 

Be the Light 

 

What song gets you pumped up every time you hear it?

Who is your role model and why?

Anyone who has a dream or idea and follows through with it is a role model in my eyes. Things may or may not work out, but if someone has the courage to try, I am inspired. 

 

How do you relax? 

Yoga! Yoga is where I feel most alive and relaxed, even through sweaty hot power classes. It's a homecoming for me. 

 

Do you prefer breakfast, lunch or dinner? And what is your favorite thing to eat for that meal? 

Do you prefer breakfast, lunch or dinner? And what is your favorite thing to eat for that meal? I prefer breakfast, and my favorite food is a sausage, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel. 

 

What type of music/artist do you love?

It all depends on my mood! If you shuffle my playlists, you may hear the Beatles, Tina Turner, Leon Bridges, Zac Brown, Taylor Swift, Dave Matthews, Paul Simon, Rebelution, Ray LaMontagne, Stevie Wonder, Alabama Shakes, O.A.R.

 

How do you take your coffee or tea?

Decaf dark roast with a splash or two of heavy cream

 

Where is one place in the world that you haven't been to that you are dying to go?

Bali, Indonesia

 

Why is working out important to you? 

Daily movement is a core value for me because it makes me feel alive. Moving energy boosts my mood and helps my mind stay sharp and focused. It's also a lot of fun! 

 

What is one thing you struggle with and how do you manage it? 

Verbally communicating my feelings has always been tricky for me, meditation and yoga help me see things as they are which often allows the words to rise up.
